Python Developer
Vectorworks Team
We are looking for a Python Developer to join one of our teams - Vectorworks.
YOUR DAILY CHALLENGES
- Contributing to different layers of our technology stack, including backend services, databases, APIs;
- Working with and supporting other team members;
- Keeping an eye on the latest technology trends;
- Be part of an R&D SCRUM team.
OUR EXPECTATIONS
- 3+ years of professional Python development experience;
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software design patterns;
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs;
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure, GCP, or other cloud providers also valued);
- Proven track record working with high-traffic applications and scalable systems;
- Solid experience with relational databases and optimising queries for large datasets;
- Detail-oriented approach with strong organisational skills;
- Ability to adapt quickly as priorities evolve in a dynamic environment;
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal);
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred.
CONSIDERED AS A PLUS
- Experience with Django (or other Python frameworks like Flask, FastAPI);
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL;
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation;
- Experience with systems/network automation and monitoring;
- Background in agile/SCRUM methodologies.
