Senior DevOps Engineer (with GCP)

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with GCP to join one of our teams - DevOps Hub.

 

YOUR DAILY CHALLENGES

  • Develop automation frameworks (Infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines) and tooling that will be consumed by the entire engineering organization.
  • Identify roadblocks and inefficiencies in the current workflow, and work with teams to plan and remediate improvements.
  • Manage incidents and incident responses to ensure proper follow-up and mitigation.
  • Support legacy technologies and be a part of the solution in migrating them to cloud-native solutions.

OUR EXPECTATIONS

  • Proven experience in managing both on-premises and cloud infrastructures, particularly in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Extensive experience with large-scale Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development using Terraform.
  • Good understanding of virtualization and containerization;
  • Proficiency in CI/CD automation tools (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, Argo Workflows, Gitlab Pipelinе;
  • Experience with ensuring the reliability and availability of data storage systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail;
  • A proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement;
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science studies;
  • Fluent in English.

CONSIDERED A PLUS

  • Hands-on experience in fixing OS-level vulnerabilities, Security Command Center, DDoS protection, Web Application Firewall (WAF), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and SAST/DAST
  • Experience with serverless event-driven architectures and data streaming, including Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Workflows, and Eventarc.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse architecture such as big query/big table.
